Laurie Shaman creates expressive, hand-built porcelain tabletop and wall work, featuring original drawings and surface imagery that evokes classical and contemporary sensibilities.
The ceramic pieces I make today evolved naturally over time from a strong foundation producing utilitarian pottery, as well as having an ongoing practice of creating works on paper with a variety of drawing techniques.

Experience the show in person or online! See interpretations of the teapot form in clay, glass, wood, mixed media and fiber. The array of craftsmanship and techniques is inspiring and imaginative.
